Tire Safety
These are some general tire safety tips you should follow when operating
a motor vehicle.
When new tires are fitted they should not be subjected to maximum power
or hard cornering until a reasonable "Run In" distance of approximately 100
miles has been covered.
Never fit a tube in a radial motorcycle tire, nor fit a radial tire on a
rim requiring a tube. Never Mix radials with non-radials.
The letters S, H, V, and Z included in or after the size marking
on most tires are speed ratings recognized by the European Tire and Rim Organization and
Japanese Industry Standards. The ratings are assigned based upon controlled indoor wheel
assembly testing.
Tire manufacturers do not recommend the use of any of their
products in excess of legal speed limits.
